El 30 de septiembre, como parte de las celebraciones de la Semana del Libro, el Círculo de Lectores Vasco Franco llevó a cabo una gira académica a la ciudad de Panamá. Esta actividad fue organizada por las docentes Indira Acevedo y Matilde Hernández, con el valioso apoyo de Gloria López y Ángela Quiroz.
Durante la jornada, los participantes visitaron las instalaciones de SERTV, canal de televisión nacional, donde conocieron el proceso de producción de programas y los espacios dedicados a la difusión cultural. Además, recorrieron la Biblioteca Nacional, explorando áreas como literatura infantil, publicaciones nacionales y medios audiovisuales. La gira concluyó con una visita al Parque Omar, donde los estudiantes disfrutaron de un ambiente recreativo y de reflexión sobre la importancia de la lectura.
